The holiday home Sjöbodan is situated on a tranquil 2,000 m² lakeside property near Lake Sommen, approximately 40 km east of Lake Vättern. Guests can enjoy direct access to the crystal-clear water, ideal for swimming and fishing from their private dock. The outdoor area features garden furniture and a grill for relaxed alfresco dining. Visitors can also explore the lake using the provided kayak and electric motorboat. While the outdoor facilities are for communal use, the serene surroundings offer a perfect retreat. Guests may encounter various scenery while discovering some of the 260 islands in the vicinity. For shopping and dining, the charming town of Tranås lies about 35 km away. With the house accommodating up to four guests, it promises an idyllic outdoor experience in a picturesque setting.
Rooms and equipment
The approximately 55 m² holiday house, Sjöbodan, offers accommodation for four guests and was renovated in 2024. The entrance leads into a small hallway that opens into the living area, which includes an integrated kitchen equipped with an electric stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine, and kettle. A steep staircase leads to an open sleeping loft furnished with two single beds. Adjacent to the living room is a bedroom featuring a double bed and a compact bathroom with a shower, incineration toilet, and hand wash basin. Guests have access to garden furniture and a grill, as well as a kayak and an electric motor boat for shared use. Smoking is prohibited indoors, and a dog is allowed. Bed linen and towels are available for rent at €10 per person, and thorough final cleaning can be taken by guests or booked for €60. Electricity costs are included in the rental price.

Properties with Enquiry Booking: To book an accommodation please contact the landlord by phone or via the contact form on the property listing. It is impossible to book such properties directly online on our website.
Properties with Online Booking: To book an accommodation directly and bindingly online, please enter your travel period, the number of guests and calculate the valid price. Afterwards, please complete the booking form in three easy steps. Alternatively, you can also use our telephone booking service.
Properties with Enquiry Booking: To book an accommodation please contact the landlord by phone or via the contact form on the property listing. It is impossible to book such properties directly online on our website.

Yes, but please note that in case of a cancellation by the tenant the landlord might charge a cancellation fee. This applies in general when a rental contract has been already concluded bindingly.

In the case you booked an accommodation of our cooperation partners, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation as well as the contact details of the landlord and the property address. In general it is impossible to exceed the maximum number of guests. Not even if you organise more sleeping facilities by yourself. Children, regardless of age, are considered as a guest. The indicated rental price is only valid for the maximum possible number of guests.
Some properties offer special rates for children. You can recognize those accommodations, if you are asked about the amount and the age of the travelling children in the price calculation. If this is not the case, the stated prices apply to all guests (regardless of age).

Right below this map, you will find distances to interesting places e.g. city center, beach, ski lift or the next shopping possibility. Furthermore, an individual text written by the landlord gives you more information about your holiday destination.

Whether you can bring your pets or not, please read the information in the "Features" section on this page. In general, the term "Pets not allowed" means that it is not permitted to bring any kind of pets at all.

Deviations from this regulation can be discussed individually. If your arrival/departure has to be very early/late, we will gladly clarify this with the landlord, if the accommodation is only bookable online. If you chose a property with Enquiry Booking, please contact the landlord directly about this issue.
The key handover and return has to be clarified directly with the landlord. Please see question no. 18 to learn more about how and when you can contact your landlord.
There may be various reasons for this:
Your travel period undercuts the given minimum stay.
Your desired date of arrival/departure is impossible according to the landlord's settings.
A gap in the calendar is impossible to rent, if it undercuts the minimum stay, e.g. A gap of three nights is not bookable, if the given minimum stay is five nights.
You cannot book an accommodation, if your desired travel period causes a gap which is lower than the minimum stay.
Your requested arrival date is too short-term.
Since some of our accommodations are from cooperation partners, it is possible that the given data may not be up-to-date. In this case your desired travel period may be no longer available in the price calculation.
In this case your desired travel period is not bookable. You can extend your stay, if this is an option for you or you search for another accommodation with an appropriate minimum stay.
