Located approximately 40 km south of Växjö, the holiday homes Eken and Boken are set on a spacious lawn property by Lake Åsnen, offering shared outdoor amenities. Guests have access to a private boat mooring and swimming opportunities just 200 meters from the houses. Additionally, a beautiful public beach area with a summer kiosk is situated about 2 km away in Kärrasand. For shopping, Urshult is 8 km away, while larger options are found in Ryd and Tingsryd, approximately 20 km from the location. The properties feature covered verandas with garden furniture and grills, ideal for communal family gatherings. For fishing enthusiasts, a fishing permit can be purchased, and a limited number of rowboats and canoes are available for rent through the owners. The houses allow for a restful outdoor experience amidst nature, perfect for memorable family vacations.
Rooms and equipment
The vacation houses Eken and Boken, part of the former Bosgård estate, each offer 58 m² of comfortable living space. Each house features a spacious living room with a kitchenette, two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed—and a bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, and washing machine. The living rooms include a sofa bed for two additional guests, a fireplace, internet access (100/10 Mbit), SAT-TV, DVD player, and a dining area. Modern kitchens are equipped with an electric stove, extractor hood, and fridge-freezer. Both houses benefit from running water from a private well and can be heated electrically or by the fireplace. A small covered veranda, garden furniture, and a grill complete the amenities. A cot is available on request. Please note that smoking and pets are not allowed, and end cleaning and linen service are available for an additional fee.

Properties with Enquiry Booking: To book an accommodation please contact the landlord by phone or via the contact form on the property listing. It is impossible to book such properties directly online on our website.
Properties with Online Booking: To book an accommodation directly and bindingly online, please enter your travel period, the number of guests and calculate the valid price. Afterwards, please complete the booking form in three easy steps. Alternatively, you can also use our telephone booking service.
Properties with Enquiry Booking: To book an accommodation please contact the landlord by phone or via the contact form on the property listing. It is impossible to book such properties directly online on our website.

If there are only 5 days between the booking and the arrival date, you will immediately receive the contact details of the landlord and the address of the accommodation via e-mail. In the case you booked an accommodation of our cooperation partners, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation as well as the contact details of the landlord and the property address. If there are only 5 days between the booking and the arrival date, you will immediately receive the contact details of the landlord and the address of the accommodation via e-mail. In the case you booked an accommodation of our cooperation partners, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation as well as the contact details of the landlord and the property address. In general it is impossible to exceed the maximum number of guests. Not even if you organise more sleeping facilities by yourself. Children, regardless of age, are considered as a guest. The indicated rental price is only valid for the maximum possible number of guests.
Some properties offer special rates for children. You can recognize those accommodations, if you are asked about the amount and the age of the travelling children in the price calculation. If this is not the case, the stated prices apply to all guests (regardless of age).

Right below this map, you will find distances to interesting places e.g. city center, beach, ski lift or the next shopping possibility. Furthermore, an individual text written by the landlord gives you more information about your holiday destination.

Whether you can bring your pets or not, please read the information in the "Features" section on this page. In general, the term "Pets not allowed" means that it is not permitted to bring any kind of pets at all.

Deviations from this regulation can be discussed individually. If your arrival/departure has to be very early/late, we will gladly clarify this with the landlord, if the accommodation is only bookable online. If you chose a property with Enquiry Booking, please contact the landlord directly about this issue.
The key handover and return has to be clarified directly with the landlord. Please see question no. 18 to learn more about how and when you can contact your landlord.
There may be various reasons for this:
Your travel period undercuts the given minimum stay.
Your desired date of arrival/departure is impossible according to the landlord's settings.
A gap in the calendar is impossible to rent, if it undercuts the minimum stay, e.g. A gap of three nights is not bookable, if the given minimum stay is five nights.
You cannot book an accommodation, if your desired travel period causes a gap which is lower than the minimum stay.
Your requested arrival date is too short-term.
Since some of our accommodations are from cooperation partners, it is possible that the given data may not be up-to-date. In this case your desired travel period may be no longer available in the price calculation.
In this case your desired travel period is not bookable. You can extend your stay, if this is an option for you or you search for another accommodation with an appropriate minimum stay.
