The house is surrounded by an idyllic garden that borders directly on the dunes. For every one of the three holiday apartments there is a private sun area with wicker beach chair and garden furniture available. Even in the off-peak seasons, you can enjoy even the smallest rays of sunlight, enjoy a coffee or have a barbeque protected from the wind.

Sandpiper is situated on the first floor and comfortably sleeps four guests. The cosy sloped ceilings have light wood paneling. The furnishings partly comprise of antique pine furniture and the apartment has been stylishly decorated.
Satellite TV, radio, a DVD player and stereo system belong to this apartment’s facilities; wireless internet and the use of the washing machine and dryer are free of charge.
The apartment is bright and there is central heating in all rooms. The floor space is approximately 40m². Room layout:

House Achtersteven with the apartments “Oyster Catcher”, “Sandpiper”, “Red-throated Diver” and “Swallows’ Nest” lies at the end of a historic residential street on the outskirts of List, directly beside the natural conservation area Lister Wanderdünen with views to the dunes and the dyke. Bathing beaches on the tideland and ocean side of the island can be reached in no time at all. The three holiday apartments have been furnished in a cosy, rural style and invite guests to make themselves at home. The peaceful location guarantees peace and quiet at night and real relaxation.

The centre of the township, with restaurants, bistros and shopping opportunities as well as the harbour with its lively atmosphere, are about 15 minutes’ walk away and there is a bicycle rental outfit opposite the house. The bus stops right at the door.

To make you arrival more comfortable you will find all the indispensible basic supplies such as tea towels, cleaning cloths, a sponge, dish-washing liquid, soap and toilet paper.
