IIn the middle of the beautiful Harz Mountains we offer several modern and comfortable apartments for 2 to 10 people or all apartments at the same time as a large vacation house for 16 to 22 people.
In addition, for those who want to relax from the Harz adventures around their vacation home, we offer a garden full of play and relaxation facilities and even a swimming pool!
And if the weather is not so good, we also offer a range of entertainment options in the house, such as billiards, air field hockey, darts, table soccer, a closet full of games, casino games, game tables for children and much more.

The Harz Mountains, where an oasis of peace, beautiful nature and many hiking trails start right outside the front door. And where in winter, when Frau Holle transforms the landscape into a white winter fairy tale, the fun in the snow begins on your doorstep and various ski areas are within easy reach, such as the Matthias Schmidt Mountain in Sankt Andreasberg, the Wurmberg in Braunlage or the Bocksberg in Hahnenklee. There are also numerous smaller ski areas in the surrounding area.

All apartments have a large private balcony.
The house has its own central main entrance, next to it all vacation apartments can be locked separately.
The recreation room with many entertainment offers for young and old can be reached from all vacation apartments comfortably from the inside.

Upgrade for the stay of more people (up to 22 guests in total) is possible for a fee per person until arrival.

Surroundings
Mountain Village Sieber
The picturesque village of Sieber is situated on the edge of the Harz National Park in the Sieber Valley, amidst extensive forests, exciting high altitudes and phenomenal views. All these ingredients make this paradise one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Europe. A nature reserve known for its unique flora & fauna, there are new discoveries to be made with every adventure. Besides the beautiful surroundings and wonderful nature, and despite the fact that Sieber is a small village, there is also a lot to do in the village!
Recreation Park "Große Wiesen
For children, the "Große Wiesen" recreational park, which covers approx. 65,000 m2 and is less than a 3-minute walk away, offers a large adventure playground. Here they can climb and scramble to their heart's content or slide down the high slide. The park also has a mini-golf course and an outdoor swimming pool with a children's pool. But the park also offers many recreational opportunities for the older generation. It has a beautiful pond and extensive, well-kept lawns with lovely flower beds. Here you can enjoy a nice walk without too much effort.
Nature discovery trail
Halfway up the mountain meadow, by the playground, is the "oversized" or life-size bench, where man and beast seem to have become little dwarfs. You are guaranteed to take great holiday photos here! Hiking in Sieber is also a great experience for children. Along the "Nature Experience Trail" they can learn interesting facts about the trees and wild animals. There are also various active elements such as a "charcoal burning", a balance beam, a giant wind game, a barefoot path and many other exciting things. There are also some German poems and songs hidden in the trees.
Panorama Trail
The Panoramaweg is a hiking trail that circles Sieber like a cloverleaf. During this hike, as the name suggests, you can enjoy beautiful views of the village of Sieber. From one of the many vantage points you also have a wonderful view of Klein Holland Harz, and vice versa, from Klein Holland Harz you have a wonderful view of the higher mountain meadows. The Panorama Trail is also part of the much larger "Rundwanderweg".
Great Kulmke
For those who enjoy hiking in the forest but find the differences in altitude too strenuous, the "Große Kulmke", which lies just outside the village, is a wonderful alternative. Here you can enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature on a long and stable path and also enjoy the surrounding differences in altitude without too much effort. The water of the Kulmke flows peacefully next to the paths and all around the flora & fauna grow and flourish. And if you look closely, you might even be lucky enough to spot small and large forest animals.
Other highlights and hiking fun
In addition to the smaller hiking trails in and around Sieber, there are also larger ones such as: The Harzer Baudensteig Part 2 and Part 3 (also part of the Harzer Wandernadel), as well as the European long-distance hiking trail number 6. And the route to the Großer Knollen and the route to the Hanskühnenburg will take you to the most beautiful highlights!
Restaurant "Dachstübchen
The cosy authentic restaurant "Dachstübchen", right next door, offers delicious typical German evening meals and children's dishes! In summer you can also sit and eat in the beer garden. As the Dachstübchen is particularly popular at weekends and during holidays, the owners advise booking in advance. For large(er) groups it is strongly recommended to book in advance. Of course, we can always pass on this reservation(s) to our neighbours. Just let us know and we will arrange it!

The Harz is a destination with endless possibilities. No one needs to be bored here!
Every season in the Harz is a great adventure for young and old. There are enough leisure and recreational opportunities for every taste. We believe that even we, as residents, will never manage to see all the beautiful places and sights! So it is not surprising that many people visit the Harz every year or even several times a year.
We have an extensive information wall with brochures that can be viewed and taken away during your stay. But we can imagine that people already want to find out at home what they can see / do during their stay. Therefore, we have compiled a list of links especially for our guests in our guest folder.
Almost all places and sights in the Harz Mountains can be reached within an hour from Klein Holland Harz.
HarzCard
Purchasing the HarzCard entitles you to many reductions and even free admission. If you plan to travel a lot and want to experience as much as possible, the HarzCard is recommended! With the 4-day HarzCard you can also experience the world-famous Brocken trip at a low price. The outward journey is free of charge and the return journey can be purchased at a very high discount. You can find more information and the current offer here.

Tickets purchased/ordered from us are valid indefinitely. You can wait for the best weather conditions and even save them for your next stay in the Harz.
In addition, tickets purchased/ordered from us always guarantee that you will be able to board the train at the desired time and date. You can go directly to the platform, board the train as soon as it arrives, and immediately enjoy the fantastic Brocken ride!
