Vogtsbauernhof
Discover in our impressive Black Forest farms, in mills and sawmills, in parlors and barns how people lived, lived and worked in the Black Forest over the last 400 years.
In our open-air museum you can experience culture and history up close: the black kitchens still smell of the smoke from the last fire. Old domestic animal breeds are kept in the stables, and sheep, goats and chickens roam the pastures. The residents' hard daily work is evidenced by hand-made tools and numerous tools that are still used in many demonstrations and action days.
We show you life in the Black Forest in its various facets: its architecture, tradition, customs, crafts, as well as its economy and way of life.
Visitor mine in Schnellingen
The former silver mine "Segen Gottes" is located in Haslach-Schnellingen in the Kinzig valley in the central Black Forest.
The first written evidence of mining in the mine dates back to the 13th century, but mining was probably carried out here much earlier. The mine was closed in the 18th century.
From 1997, mining and mineral enthusiasts began to reopen the mine and make it accessible with the support of the town of Haslach.
