Marina Wendtorf is located in an absolutely quiet location, surrounded by nature, directly on a wonderful sea, beach and dune landscape, interestingly at the point where the Kiel Fjord ends in the Baltic Sea. The bike or e-bike can be borrowed conveniently 300m from the front door. If you feel like it, you can also drive directly along the water between Laboe and Schönberger Strand and watch the ships on the Baltic Sea.

Water sports and beach enthusiasts can try out kite surfing and stand-up paddling on site, experience a long day at the beach on the many beaches along the Baltic Sea, or canoeing on the nearby Schwentine.

Culture lovers will find opportunities in the immediate vicinity such as Schönberg with the Childhood Museum or Laboe with the famous Laboer Memorial and submarine or in many ways in the state capital of Kiel, which is only 25 km away, with its opera, theater, cinemas, museums, but also pubs and restaurants his unique "Kiel Week", known as the largest sailing event.
