Villa Montana is located directly on the sea, in the shade of greenery, palm trees and Mediterranean plants. The spacious terraces offer a beautiful view of the open sea and the city center with its colorful and attractive harbor.

We are located in Trpanj, on the Pelješac peninsula, a romantic Dalmatian place with promenades by the sea, beautiful coves, beaches and crystal clear sea.

In front of our house there is a pebble / concrete beach, suitable for children, and a large local beach with a restaurant and showers is 70-100 meters from the house. The center with shops, restaurants, post office, ATMs, clinic, pharmacy ... is located within 250 meters from the house.

The main tourist centers are nearby, such as Dubrovnik-100 km, Korčula-24 km, boat to Mljet National Park - 20 km.

Trpanj is one of the oldest places on the Pelješac Peninsula. When you visit our small place, you feel relaxed, which you can only experience in a small seaside place. During the day you can enjoy in addition to numerous beaches, cafes in beautiful locations, wine cellars, bars and evenings on the beach, and summer parties.


HISTORY

In ancient times, people recognized the attractiveness of the place where Trpanj is located today, and on the slopes of Mount Gradina there are examples of prehistoric ceramics and fortifications.

On the highest hill of Trpanja, there are prehistoric traces from the beginning of the 17th century, and later the church of St. Deadline. From the courtyard of the church there is a beautiful view of Trpanj and the Neretva canal.

The statue of Our Lady of the Sea dominates the harbor. On the feast of the Assumption on August 15, the inhabitants of Trpanj and its surroundings come on boats in front of the statue of Our Lady during a solemn mass ceremony.

BEACHES
Some of the most beautiful beaches in Trpanj:

WARNING
In front of the hotel "Faraon" and 70 meters from the house is the pebble beach "Pozora". It has a natural shade, and showers, suitable for children and people with reduced mobility. It also offers the possibility of renting equipment for recreation, and there is also a bar/restaurant right on the beach.

WONDERFUL
10 km from Trpanj in the direction of Duba, there is a sandy beach with pebbles "Divna", which got its name because of its natural beauty and the exciting contrast of green and blue colors.

DUBA
Another beautiful beach is 13 km from Trpanj. The beach is also suitable for trips with children, and there is also a bar on the beach.

LAKE
is a cove 1 km from Duba, with a sandy/pebble beach. This is the right place where you will find the real pleasure of direct contact with untouched nature.
The beauty and uniqueness of this beach are also contributed by a small lake, surrounded by a beach, on the mainland, whose water flows through the white sand of the beach.

In addition to these beaches, there is also a nudist beach, as well as numerous smaller beaches and hidden romantic coves that you can explore on your own.


HEALTH TOURISM

Because of the untouched nature, clean sea, and lush vegetation, we are visited by many guests with respiratory health problems.

We are becoming more recognizable thanks to Blace Bay, which is covered with healing mud.
According to the results of the study, the use of mud helps in the treatment of rheumatic and female diseases, skin problems and strengthens the immune system. More than tons of this mud, it hides a lot of minerals and active substances, anthracite color, smell of hydrogen sulfide, it is free and unlimited for use. Apart from the healing mud, this is a naturally beautiful and peaceful bay.

Villa Montana offers an extraordinary experience in a beautiful landscape and relaxing atmosphere.

Our accommodation on the top floor, accessed through a separate entrance, offers a private and spacious terrace. For complete privacy and relaxation, we rent two apartments together with a total capacity of up to 12 people.

The first apartment covers 140 m2 and can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. It consists of a spacious living room, three bedrooms (3+3+2), two modern bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms and the living room have balconies that offer an unobstructed view of the sea, while the third bedroom offers a window with a charming view of the sea and greenery. The two fully equipped bathrooms include one with a washing machine. The modern kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, induction stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and all the necessary facilities for your comfort. Air conditioning is available throughout the accommodation.

The second apartment consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. From the window there is a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding greenery. With an area of 45 m2, this apartment offers a pleasant haven for your stay. Like the first apartment, it also has air conditioning.

One of the highlights of our accommodation is the spacious terrace where you can enjoy the sounds of the waves, enjoy the sea breeze and the scents of coastal plants. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee, preparing a barbecue feast or simply indulging in quiet evenings, this terrace provides an incredibly relaxing atmosphere.

From the spacious private terrace, you will be offered an incredible view of the enchanting sea and the lively city center. Relax and enjoy the terrace by using our deckchairs or a barbecue grill.

A practical garage is available inside the building for storing personal belongings and can accommodate up to three cars. We also offer a kayak for 2+1 persons, unlimited use, which is included in the price.

Special features

A spacious garage space of 50 m2 suitable for parking (max. 3 cars) and for storing things.

Unlimited use of kayaks is included in the price.

Trpanj can be reached by highway directly to Ploče, and by ferry Ploče - Trpanj or by road over the newly opened Pelješac bridge.

General Information

To confirm the reservation, it is necessary to pay 20% of the total price.

The rest of the money is paid upon arrival in cash or directly to the account before arrival.
The price includes all running costs of utilities, taxi, bed linen, cleaning, and the use of the garage and kayak, and there are no additional costs.

The security deposit is 300 euros, which is returned upon departure.


The minimum stay is 5 nights.

For rentals lasting 14 nights, we offer a 5% discount on the total price.

Animals are welcome, subject to prior agreement.

The accommodation is not suitable for groups of young people and parties.

On the day of arrival, the accommodation is available from 14:00.

On the day of departure you must leave the property by 09:00 at the latest.

How can I book an accommodation?
We distinguish between two booking types on our website. The landlord decides which type of booking he likes to offer, so that only one is possible per accommodation. You can see the valid booking type on the right side of the property listing under the price per night.

Properties with Enquiry Booking: To book an accommodation please contact the landlord by phone or via the contact form on the property listing. It is impossible to book such properties directly online on our website.

Properties with Online Booking: To book an accommodation directly and bindingly online, please enter your travel period, the number of guests and calculate the valid price. Afterwards, please complete the booking form in three easy steps. Alternatively, you can also use our telephone booking service.

Under which conditions can I book an accommodation?
Basically, the accommodation has to be vacant in your requested travel period. Furthermore, the conditions, such as max. number of guests, the minimum stay, the valid arrival and departure days have to be observed.

Please note: The rental contract is always concluded between the tenant and the landlord. Travanto is just the intermediary.

Is the accommodation vacant and bookable in my requested travel period?
In general, you are able to rent the accommodation, if your travel period is marked as vacant in the availability calendar. You can find the calendar nearly at the end of the property listing.

If a rental price can be calculated, a booking of the property is possible in your requested travel period. For further information about where and how you can calculate the rental price, please read the answer to question no. 6.

There might be vacant periods which you are unable to book. Please see question no. 16 for more information.

Is it possible to cancel my booking?
Yes, but please note that in case of a cancellation by the tenant the landlord might charge a cancellation fee. This applies in general when a rental contract has been already concluded bindingly.

This derogation applies in the case of bookings of tourist services (eg accommodations) that are fixed in time, the right of withdrawal in the case of long-distance transactions and also in the case of contracts concluded outside business premises (former doorstep selling) is suspended; § 312 g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB.

How do I calculate the total rental price?
Please specify your arrival and departure dates by typing them in directly or using the calendar on the right side of this page. Alternatively, you can use the availability calendar right below the rental prices by clicking on the dates. Afterwards you enter the number of guests and, if necessary, select optional additional services. You receive the total rental price now, which includes at least the total accommodation price including the final cleaning. Surcharges for additional guests, discounts and optional additional services are also included, if stated. All prices include VAT. Whether the tourist tax is included or not is displayed below the total rental price.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?
If a security deposit is required, please see the "Additional Price Information" in the "Rental Prices" section on this page.

What happens after I have booked an accommodation?
Once you have made a binding booking, you will immediately receive a booking confirmation via e-mail. If you cannot find the e-mail in your inbox, please check also your spam folder. You will also receive the contact details of the landlord and the property address via e-mail as soon as we determine the payment receipt on our bank account.

If there are only 5 days between the booking and the arrival date, you will immediately receive the contact details of the landlord and the address of the accommodation via e-mail. In the case you booked an accommodation of our cooperation partners, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation as well as the contact details of the landlord and the property address. Please note our payment modalities and conditions at any time (see question no. 4).

Is it possible to exceed the maximum number of guests?
In general it is impossible to exceed the maximum number of guests. Not even if you organise more sleeping facilities by yourself. Children, regardless of age, are considered as a guest. The indicated rental price is only valid for the maximum possible number of guests.

Are there discounts for children?
Some properties offer special rates for children. You can recognize those accommodations, if you are asked about the amount and the age of the travelling children in the price calculation. If this is not the case, the stated prices apply to all guests (regardless of age).

Where is my accommodation located?
You can see the location of your accommodation on a map in the "Location" section on this page. Right below this map, you will find distances to interesting places e.g. city center, beach, ski lift or the next shopping possibility. Furthermore, an individual text written by the landlord gives you more information about your holiday destination.

Are pets allowed?
Whether you can bring your pets or not, please read the information in the "Features" section on this page. In general, the term "Pets not allowed" means that it is not permitted to bring any kind of pets at all.

When are the check-in and check-out times for my accommodation?
You find the check-in and check-out times under "General Information" in the "Property description" section on this page, if the landlord has entered these information. Deviations from this regulation can be discussed individually. If your arrival/departure has to be very early/late, we will gladly clarify this with the landlord, if the accommodation is only bookable online. If you chose a property with Enquiry Booking, please contact the landlord directly about this issue.

How does the handover and the return of the keys take place?
The key handover and return has to be clarified directly with the landlord. Please see question no. 18 to learn more about how and when you can contact your landlord.

Why is a price calculation impossible, even though the accommodation is vacant?
There may be various reasons for this:

  • Your travel period undercuts the given minimum stay.
  • Your desired date of arrival/departure is impossible according to the landlord's settings.
  • A gap in the calendar is impossible to rent, if it undercuts the minimum stay, e.g. A gap of three nights is not bookable, if the given minimum stay is five nights.
  • You cannot book an accommodation, if your desired travel period causes a gap which is lower than the minimum stay.
  • Your requested arrival date is too short-term.
  • Since some of our accommodations are from cooperation partners, it is possible that the given data may not be up-to-date. In this case your desired travel period may be no longer available in the price calculation.
  • 17
    My requested travel period is below the minimum stay. How can I continue?
    In this case your desired travel period is not bookable. You can extend your stay, if this is an option for you or you search for another accommodation with an appropriate minimum stay.

    If you chose a property with Enquiry Booking, please contact the landlord via phone or the contact form on this page. If no exception can be made, the minimum stay for this accommodation has to be respected.
