The holiday flat "La Pianellina" is located on the mountain side in the picturesque district of Calozzo in Pianello del Lario, on the shores of Lake Como. The flat is on the ground floor of a house with two residential units. A large gate leads uphill to the house via a short driveway

Directly in front of your flat is a garden area with a breathtaking panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The garden is equipped with a swing, dining table and chairs as well as deckchairs - a perfect place to enjoy the view and al fresco dining.

There is also a brick-built charcoal barbecue with plenty of wood in the garden. Use these facilities to spend cosy evenings outdoors and prepare delicious meals.

On entering the flat, you enter the living area through a hallway. To the left is a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen and large windows offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The bright and modern kitchen is fully equipped and has a small counter with bar stools that tastefully demarcates the transition to the living room. Here you can enjoy your meals in comfort or simply relax in the living room with a large sofa, a TV, a dining table and a fireplace. The fireplace is for decorative purposes and cannot be connected, but the atmosphere is still cosy.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the right-hand side of the hallway. The double bedroom on the lake side offers a picturesque view of the lake, while the single bedroom is optionally equipped with a second pull-out bed. On the mountain side you will find another bedroom with a double bed and two bathrooms. All bedrooms have fly screens on the windows. The first bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and a WC, while the second bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a washbasin, a WC and a bidet.

Games and books are available for your entertainment.

The lake is approx. 1 km away and can be reached on foot in approx. 15-20 minutes or in 3 minutes by car. Pianello del Lario has beautiful, partly flat beaches and long lakeside paths for walking, jogging and cycling. Pianello has a surf and kite school and is a great spot for water sports. There are several good restaurants and a beach bar with café and restaurant right on the lake.

There are two flats in the house. Your holiday flat "La Pianellina" is on the ground floor. The flat above is only used sporadically as a weekend and holiday flat by the obliging and friendly owners, so you can usually enjoy your peace and quiet.

How can I book an accommodation?
We distinguish between two booking types on our website. The landlord decides which type of booking he likes to offer, so that only one is possible per accommodation. You can see the valid booking type on the right side of the property listing under the price per night.

Properties with Enquiry Booking: To book an accommodation please contact the landlord by phone or via the contact form on the property listing. It is impossible to book such properties directly online on our website.

Properties with Online Booking: To book an accommodation directly and bindingly online, please enter your travel period, the number of guests and calculate the valid price. Afterwards, please complete the booking form in three easy steps. Alternatively, you can also use our telephone booking service.

Under which conditions can I book an accommodation?
Basically, the accommodation has to be vacant in your requested travel period. Furthermore, the conditions, such as max. number of guests, the minimum stay, the valid arrival and departure days have to be observed.

Please note: The rental contract is always concluded between the tenant and the landlord. Travanto is just the intermediary.

Is the accommodation vacant and bookable in my requested travel period?
In general, you are able to rent the accommodation, if your travel period is marked as vacant in the availability calendar. You can find the calendar nearly at the end of the property listing.

If a rental price can be calculated, a booking of the property is possible in your requested travel period. For further information about where and how you can calculate the rental price, please read the answer to question no. 6.

Is it possible to cancel my booking?
Yes, but please note that in case of a cancellation by the tenant the landlord might charge a cancellation fee. This applies in general when a rental contract has been already concluded bindingly.

How do I calculate the total rental price?
Please specify your arrival and departure dates by typing them in directly or using the calendar on the right side of this page. Alternatively, you can use the availability calendar right below the rental prices by clicking on the dates. Afterwards you enter the number of guests and, if necessary, select optional additional services. You receive the total rental price now, which includes at least the total accommodation price including the final cleaning. Surcharges for additional guests, discounts and optional additional services are also included, if stated. All prices include VAT. Whether the tourist tax is included or not is displayed below the total rental price.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?

What happens after I have booked an accommodation?
Once you have made a binding booking, you will immediately receive a booking confirmation via e-mail. If you cannot find the e-mail in your inbox, please check also your spam folder. You will also receive the contact details of the landlord and the property address via e-mail as soon as we determine the payment receipt on our bank account.

If there are only 5 days between the booking and the arrival date, you will immediately receive the contact details of the landlord and the address of the accommodation via e-mail. In the case you booked an accommodation of our cooperation partners, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation as well as the contact details of the landlord and the property address. Please note our payment modalities and conditions at any time (see question no. 4).

Is it possible to exceed the maximum number of guests?
In general it is impossible to exceed the maximum number of guests. Not even if you organise more sleeping facilities by yourself. Children, regardless of age, are considered as a guest. The indicated rental price is only valid for the maximum possible number of guests.

Are there discounts for children?
Some properties offer special rates for children. You can recognize those accommodations, if you are asked about the amount and the age of the travelling children in the price calculation. If this is not the case, the stated prices apply to all guests (regardless of age).

Right below this map, you will find distances to interesting places e.g. city center, beach, ski lift or the next shopping possibility. Furthermore, an individual text written by the landlord gives you more information about your holiday destination.

Are pets allowed?
Whether you can bring your pets or not, please read the information in the "Features" section on this page. In general, the term "Pets not allowed" means that it is not permitted to bring any kind of pets at all.

When are the check-in and check-out times for my accommodation?
You find the check-in and check-out times under "General Information" in the "Property description" section on this page, if the landlord has entered these information. Deviations from this regulation can be discussed individually. If your arrival/departure has to be very early/late, we will gladly clarify this with the landlord, if the accommodation is only bookable online. If you chose a property with Enquiry Booking, please contact the landlord directly about this issue.

How does the handover and the return of the keys take place?
The key handover and return has to be clarified directly with the landlord. Please see question no. 18 to learn more about how and when you can contact your landlord.

Why is a price calculation impossible, even though the accommodation is vacant?
There may be various reasons for this:

  • Your travel period undercuts the given minimum stay.
  • Your desired date of arrival/departure is impossible according to the landlord's settings.
  • A gap in the calendar is impossible to rent, if it undercuts the minimum stay, e.g. A gap of three nights is not bookable, if the given minimum stay is five nights.
  • You cannot book an accommodation, if your desired travel period causes a gap which is lower than the minimum stay.
  • Your requested arrival date is too short-term.
  • Since some of our accommodations are from cooperation partners, it is possible that the given data may not be up-to-date. In this case your desired travel period may be no longer available in the price calculation.
  • 17
    My requested travel period is below the minimum stay. How can I continue?
    In this case your desired travel period is not bookable. You can extend your stay, if this is an option for you or you search for another accommodation with an appropriate minimum stay.
