Location and surroundings
Experience the unique landscapes of the nature reserve Melbecke in all its beauty. The valley of the Melbecke is nestled between the Fretter and Elspetal in the Sauerland-Rothaar Mountains. Our holiday farm is right in the middle of Melbecke-Lennestadt.
Attractions
Hike around Elspe or visit the unique shows in Europe's largest show and festival park in Lennestadt. A special highlight are the Karl May Festival, which attracts over 200,000 guests every summer and can compete with Bad Segeberg. Dive into the world of the wild west for a few hours and let Winnetou & Old Shatterhand carry you away. In the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge nature park, hiking trails and magnificent views attract visitors. With the many attractions such as stalactite caves, castles and mining monuments, there is certainly none
Boredom on. The region is an Eldorado for bird lovers because gray woodpeckers and rare red kites live here. Visit the Balver Cave, Europe's largest Paleolithic hall cave, Altena Castle or Berleburg Castle. You should not miss a trip to the Biggeblick viewing platform.

Do you want to escape everyday life and spend unforgettable holidays in the beautiful Sauerland? Then the Kornkammer apartment at Verse Holiday Farm is just the thing for you. The granary of a farm was once the storage room for seeds and grain and is therefore of considerable size. Here we have set up a wonderful apartment for four people. When it came to the equipment, we placed great emphasis on atmosphere. Whether holiday with a dog, family vacation or alone, you will feel comfortable here right from the start. Almost 80 square meters await you with a spacious living room with a dining table and a comfortable couch, two appealing bedrooms
with two single beds each, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern daylight bathroom. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

The granary's two spacious bedrooms offer sleeping space for four people. The master bedroom has two single beds and a wash cabinet, the second room has two single beds and cupboards with enough storage space. Wouldn't it be wonderful to fall asleep with lovely birdsong and healthy air?

The kitchen of our Kornkammer apartment offers everything you need to prepare meals
necessary is. You will find a stove with oven and extractor hood, a dishwasher, a spacious fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and enough cutlery and crockery for four people. There is also a comfortable seating area where you can start the day with fresh bread.

It can be endured here! Enjoy the end of the day and review the events of the day. The living room has a lot of atmosphere. A television keeps you up to date on current events. The equipment also includes a hi-fi system and a tablet for uncomplicated Internet reception. Hiking maps & information material are available as an analogue orientation aid.

Does your mouth water when you smell coffee and crispy rolls? The granary veranda is perfect for having breakfast outdoors and sunbathing. Let the day end with a glass of wine. In addition to cozy seating, there are also comfortable sun loungers.

The spacious daylight bathroom with shower, toilet and sink has everything you need for daily hygiene. Here you start refreshed into an eventful or relaxing day of vacation.

There are numerous well-marked hiking trails for hikers where they can go on long hikes and walks.
Our holiday farm was awarded the title 'Wanderbare Deutschland' by the hiking association.
Very good hiking maps are available in our apartment.
We also offer a holiday with your dog, with which you can also take beautiful walks and hikes.
Family vacation
You can spend your well-deserved family vacation with us and your children can play with the numerous playground equipment.
In the village there are 2 riding companies where you or your children can take riding lessons.
Of course, you can also go on a bike ride or a winter vacation with us.
As our service we offer our guests the pick-up and delivery service to the train station, the fridge service and the bread delivery service.
The apartment has WiFi that we offer to our holiday guests free of charge.

On our holiday farm we have 2 our 2 lovely ponies Silvi and Pino, rabbits and our two lovely dog Ronja. In addition, there are many games and lots of space in the yard so that the kids can really romp. In the village there are 2 riding companies with Icelandic horses where they can take riding lessons. In the area there are some destinations we highly recommend. Furthermore, there are very good hiking trails and bike paths for hiking and cycling invite.
Here you can spend a relaxing holiday with your dog. You can let your dog run free in the meadow and make beautiful walks with her dear dog every day. It is allowed to 2 dogs with the house moonlight. For 1 dog we charge 8.00 euros per night. The property is not fenced. The beautiful Melbecketal is a paradise for a holiday with a dog. In winter, a holiday on our farm is something very special. When the area is covered in snow you feel really well. When the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace with a hot drink so well. Directly at the holiday farm there is a sledge hill where you can let off steam with the sled. In about 18km away there is the first ski area with a lift where you can ski and with the sled down the slope can. In about 30km away Schmallenberg start the next ski areas. Holidays in winter also something for connoisseurs.

Let yourself be surprised!
The holiday region Lennestadt & Kirchhundem is conveniently located, e.g. only about an hour's drive from the Ruhr area or the Rhineland, embedded in the nature park Homert, Ebbegebirge and Rothaargebirge with altitudes between 239 and 756 m above sea level. NN.
There are many attractions nearby such as the Karl May Festival in Elspe, the Panorama Park, the Biggesee, the Attahöhle, the climbing park Repetal, the Sauerlandpyramieden, the Museum of Lennestadt, the swimming pool Finto or Aqua-Magis in Plettenberg , and many others we all highly recommend.
Furthermore, there are very good hiking trails and bike paths where you can enjoy the beautiful nature of the Sauerland.
In winter you can go sledding behind the house, take beautiful winter walks and in about 25km away are the first ski lifts.
On the day of arrival, the accommodation is available from 16:00.
On the day of departure you must leave the property by 10:00 at the latest.

For children from 6 to 12 years, the price of the room is 5.00Euro per night in the company of 2 adults.
Dogs are welcome.
We charge 8,00 Euro per night for 1 dog.
In our apartments we accommodate at most up to 2 dogs.
When booking a deposit of 20.00% (but at least 50.00 €) of the total price.
