Welcome to your holiday in our newly built house that offers the best conditions for a pleasant stay in the Harz Mountains in a very central location.
The clean Harz air and a wonderful, unobstructed panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and forests will also make your vacation an unforgettable experience.
In just 250 meters away, you can reach the new leisure center in Altenau with the new thermal baths and sauna area "Kristall Heißer Brocken". Two lifts with a toboggan run and cross-country skiing trails can also be reached very quickly.
Our house is the starting point for many beautiful hiking trails. We have prepared hiking tours ready for you free of charge.
It is also not far to the town center with many restaurants and catering facilities. Shops and a bakery are in the immediate vicinity.

Vacation right from the start, in the newly built Haus Nietmann in Altenau!
A new and stylishly furnished holiday apartment with 85 m² of living space awaits you. The apartment has a panoramic balcony with a direct view of the mountain town of Altenau and the surrounding intact and untouched nature of the Upper Harz.
A cozy living room, two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped fitted kitchen with dining area and dishwasher, and a modern, large bathroom with a walk-in, barrier-free shower entrance are also part of the equipment.
An in-house free W-LAN network, a flat screen TV with satellite HD TV and SMART TV, as well as a DVD player and a stereo system are of course available. A safe is available in the apartment free of charge for your valuables.
Of course, we have special pillows, blankets and covers for allergy sufferers. All floor coverings are suitable for allergy sufferers!
The panoramic balcony is equipped with a drying rack and a parasol, as well as a table and chairs. Enjoy the endless wide panoramic view while staying outside in beautiful weather!
Our own parking spaces are located directly at the entrance. Usage is free.
A washing machine with integrated dryer is always at your disposal.
You will find safe storage space for bicycles, skis and toboggans, as well as charging stations for your e-bikes in our lockable garage. The use of the garage and the charging stations is of course free of charge.

The right place will be our garden, because the clocks tick a little bit slower here...
"Recharge" the sun's rays on our sunbathing lawn, or relax from the daily stress of everyday life on our sun terrace. Back-friendly loungers and garden furniture are of course available.
A covered barbecue area with a fireplace grill lets barbecue evenings in the summer months and some hours of vacation be remembered.
Enjoy the many opportunities in our house to forget the stress of everyday life.
Pure rest and relaxation can be found in the modern sauna with loungers, in the infrared heat cabin with light therapy or in the in-house solarium with facial tanner.

Regardless of whether you are on holiday in Altenau with the whole family or are traveling with friends - a winter holiday in Altenau in the Harz Mountains has the right activity for everyone. Cross-country skiing around Altenau Not only guests who are looking forward to a skiing holiday in Altenau and the surrounding area get their money's worth near our holiday apartments, but also winter fans who prefer other activities. Cross-country skiers love the groomed trails around Altenau and the Sonnenberg, the Acker and the Rehberg, which have a lot to offer for both beginners and advanced skiers. Ski holidays around Altenau in the snow-covered Upper Harz Mountains Skiers are spoiled for choice when they spend their skiing holiday in the Harz Mountains and make our holiday apartments in Altenau their holiday home. The Upper Harz has various ski areas, such as the ski and toboggan run Rose in Altenau (only 5 minutes from our house). The Torfhaus, Braunlage, Schulenberg, Sonneberg and St. Andreasberg ski areas are particularly close by. All five are only 10 to 20 minutes by car from Altenau and offer panoramic slopes for cross-country and downhill skiing. tobogganing fun Families with children especially love tobogganing during their winter holidays in Altenau. Both Altenau itself and the surrounding ski areas have toboggan runs that guarantee unforgettable toboggan runs. Of course, you also have the opportunity to borrow toboggans from us free of charge. Snowshoe & winter hiking Contemplate the snow-covered nature in peace and quiet, breathe in the fresh mountain air and leave everyday life far behind - you can do this best on a winter or snowshoe hike in the Upper Harz.
For our little guests we provide cots including bed linen and high chairs. These are of course included in the rental price!

We have charging stations ready for our e-bike riders. Use is of course free of charge.
On the day of arrival, the accommodation is available from 14:00.
On the day of departure you must leave the property by 10:00 at the latest.
Rental Prices
All rates apply for max. 2 guests. An added €11,50 per night will be charged for each additional guest.
A surcharge of 3.50 € per guest is due for short stays up to 4 nights.

Furthermore, we charge a surcharge by arrangement over Christmas and New Year's Eve.
The local tourist tax will be charged separately.

We are happy to provide a cot including bed linen and a high chair free of charge.

If there are only 5 days between the booking and the arrival date, you will immediately receive the contact details of the landlord and the address of the accommodation via e-mail. In the case you booked an accommodation of our cooperation partners, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation as well as the contact details of the landlord and the property address. Please note our payment modalities and conditions at any time (see question no. 4).
